Kristy's Bakery for Sale!

This is just a short announcement to say that Kristy's Bakery is for sale.

However, we are still open and operating as usual!

While the bakery continues to be a success and a much-loved part of Swansea, Antonio now wants to retire.

Our hope is that a new buyer will come in and take over the bakery, giving it new life in the 21st century.

Just a quick post to say a big (and belated) happy new year to all our customers!

Whether you visit us daily for our artisan bread, cakes and speciality treats, or just place a random order every now and then, we thank you for your custom and hope to serve you throughout 2020!

Christmas 2018

We don't tend to update this blog very often (as you can probably tell). However, we do want to say that we are now taking orders ahead of Christmas!

It is important to get your orders for all items in early to avoid disappointment. We make everything from handmade Christmas puddings, mince pies, chocolate logs and festive biscuits as well as the usual delicious breads, pastries and savouries.

Happy New Year from Kristy's Bakery, Swansea

If your new year's resolution is to eat better, start with some good local produce.

At Kristy's Bakery we use no preservatives and nothing that you'd find in cheap factory-produced bread - just good quality ingredients, baked with care and attention. If your nan wouldn't use it to bake, chances are neither do we!

And as well as our fresh breads and cakes, we make an array of delicious pasta sauces, meatballs, lasagne and other traditional Italian specialties to order. Just get in touch to order: email us or call us on 01792 201479.

You can also pop into the bakery, on Eversley Road, Swansea. In 2016 we will be open every day of the week apart from Sunday and Monday. Our new opening hours are as follows:

Christmas at Kristy's Bakery, Swansea!

It's Christmas time at Kristy's!

And while the weather in Swansea may still be pretty miserable, we are feeling as festive as ever in the bakery.

As well as our usual traditional bake - from Italian breads to mozzarella puffs - we craft your favourite festive goodies: Christmas puddings, mince pies, chocolate logs, panettone, Christmas cakes, marzipan fruits, apple strudel, orange sticks, Santa biscuits, and more. All handmade on the premises, on Eversley Road, Sketty.

This year, the main message to our lovely customers is simple: place an order or risk missing out. Every year we have customers that pop into the shop on Christmas Eve to pick up some treats, only to find we don't have what they are looking for because we have sold out.

This doesn't have to happen. We can make anything to order fresh for Christmas Eve, if you let us know in advance. Making an order is really simple - just give us a call on 01792 201479, or email us and we will do the rest.

Naked wedding cakes at Kristy's Bakery Swansea

Don't worry, there's nothing rude about these cakes!

The reason these wedding cakes go by the nickname 'nude' or 'naked' is because they forego the traditional Royal icing, frosting or chocolate coating. And without that, the cake is essentially nude.

That's not to say they lack any visual impact - in fact these cakes tend to produce some of the biggest 'wow' factors around.

For this reason they are hugely popular with our customers (and even celebrities), and are a stunning addition to any wedding.

The nude cakes we make at Kristy's Bakery are beautifully rustic, colourful and unique, with our renown delicious flavour. We decorate the cakes with a variety of fruits, berries and sugars, and will match these with the colour scheme you are going for at your wedding.
